I had a problem with my smile. My teeth overlapped and I was very unhappy about it. But I couldn’t imagine having braces bonded to my teeth. I went to see an orthodontist and he recommended Invisalign. I was immediately happy with how transparent they were and how easy they were to use and remove. Some people did notice I was wearing the aligners, but only because I was smiling more. Other people didn’t realise until I told them at the end of the treatment. You can take them out for eating, so there are no problems with food. And if you want to go to a meeting and smile without the aligners, you can. I’m 100% satisfied and would recommend Invisalign to anyone. I’m more confident, more outgoing and smiling so much more. A smile really can change your life.

About our revolutionary Invisalign clear brace treatment

What is Invisalign?
It’s a teeth straightening treatment that uses 3D computer-imaging technology (ClinCheck) to show you your results at each stage of your treatment, with a series of clear aligners – bespoke to you – that slowly move your teeth into position. This means your results are very predictable and the treatment is very comfortable. During your treatment, you’ll receive new set of aligners every few weeks and will have regular appointments here at our Ropergate dental practice to monitor your progress at each stage of treatment.
How long will it take?
Usually, Invisalign treatment time takes between 6-12 months, but this varies from person to person dependent on the complexity of the case. We can give you a more accurate answer once you’ve had your complimentary consultation.
Does treatment hurt?
Invisalign might create a feeling of pressure when changing aligners – indicating the treatment is working. But with no metal, brackets or sharp edges, it’s far more comfortable than traditional braces which are fixed.
How do you put the aligners in?
They fit easily and snugly over teeth and can be easily removed – we can talk you through this and answer any questions you may have whilst creating your treatment plan.
When do I need to wear the aligners?
It’s recommended that you are wearing Invisalign all the time, except when eating or cleaning your teeth. You might be able to take a short break for a special occasion, like a wedding.
How do I look after the aligners?
Brush and rinse in warm water, then use the cleaning tablets provided – and ensure you brush your teeth after each meal, before putting them back in your mouth.
